Late Summer Harvest
By Jeska Losonsky
Layers of color create the slightly abstracted artwork. My landscape paintings are intended to invoke a sense of dreamlike nostalgia by the viewer. Although you may not have witnessed the actual scenery depicted, I hope the imagery takes you to a place of fond memories and feelings of peace. Just Imagine... The sunset is nearing and the clouds begin to take on a pinkish hue. The corn fields are all harvested and only stalks remain. You breath in the crisp air and smell leaves burning in the distance. Autumn is approaching and the cool weather brings nostalgia of happy memories.
