Layers of color create the slightly abstracted artwork. My landscape paintings are intended to invoke a sense of dreamlike nostalgia by the viewer. Although you may not have witnessed the actual scenery depicted, I hope the imagery takes you to a place of fond memories and feelings of peace. Just imagine... The heat of the day is slowly subsiding and the clear sky will bring about a cool night under the stars. For now the sun is low in sky, approaching the horizon. As you look out towards the east, a very faint breeze picks up dust and tosses it into the air. It hovers, and floats lethargically much like heat felt earlier in the day.
