Mountain Air

Layers of color create the slightly abstracted artwork. My landscape paintings are intended to invoke a sense of dreamlike nostalgia by the viewer. Although you may not have witnessed the actual scenery depicted, I hope the imagery takes you to a place of fond memories and feelings of peace. Just Imagine... A long hike brought you to a scenic overlook. Surrounded by orange blooms, tall grasses and weeds. Below you a river flows through a forest of conifers, winding it's way through the valley. A few trees threaten the view but the distant mountain range stands majestically at the horizon with peaceful skies above.
